The transistor is from my childhood. The measuring jug and the red striped bowl are both from re-ment. But the little egg cups and the jam container next to them are gifts from Cocco, bought in France.
I buy lot's of re-ment sets in return and keep what I can use in my scale and give her the things that suits the scale of her Actionman :-)

Mari is my seven year old daughter and she's almost fully recovered from the flu now, thank you for your good wishes!Pubdollhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17437757001376468255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4405946429398517773.post-73105842925014382962009-12-02T06:25:38.345-08:002009-12-02T06:25:38.345-08:00I love this kitchen, Helene, so light and bright a...I love this kitchen, Helene, so light and bright and lots of room to move! The Barton dresser is one of my favourites with its angled sides - and I love all the little pieces on it, the measuring jug, and the red-striped bowl, and the egg cups! Marvellous! It looks like Nora has everything she needs to cook - and a transistor to listen to while she does. I'd love to have a kitchen like this :-)
(ps Is Mari your daughter? I hope she's better now, and glad it wasn't too serious.)Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11859849266660930171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4405946429398517773.post-80490094084136440282009-12-02T02:52:54.013-08:002009-12-02T02:52:54.013-08:00Thanks Sans! Now Mari has got the swineflu, (Almost totally recovered now, so no danger)and that means more laidback days for me :-)
My own kitchen doesn't look anything like this, it's more sleak with birch furniture, black bench and lime green walls. And even almost all of my kitchen tools are in the same lime green colour :-) But it was the first of our rooms to be finished, so I guess you're right, even though in my doll's house world this is the first kitchen to be finished :-)
The marzipan pig is a freal tradition, it's hidden inside a red box on top of the fridge, but I will take a better picture of it for you later.Pubdollhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17437757001376468255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4405946429398517773.post-90224567329362957382009-12-01T23:37:23.097-08:002009-12-01T23:37:23.097-08:00dear helene

Like now..lol!

I always do my kitchen 1st, whenever I move. Strange because I do not cook. Even for dollhouses, I love fixing the kitchen 1st. Is this a woman thing?

All your attention to details tells me that you are very hands on where your own kitchen is concerned. Please tell sonny that his paper towel roll is fabulous! Your paint job does make the floor look linoleumish but I am going blind trying to see the marzipan pig, lol. Is that a real tradition in Norway? That's why I love reading your posts.
