ENG: In the parcel from callsmall I also got this cool yellow furniture.
I lent it to Polly Line, while she's waiting for her other furniture to arrive. But she was so happy with it, so I don't know if I'll ever get it back! She immediately invited her friends Nora and Cocco Flanell over to show off her new house and furniture. And for a banana daiquiri.
Credits: Yellow chairs, sofa and lamp from callsmall. The carpet is a gift from Oese, thank you both!
The sideboards are by Barton, the dining chairs are from Lundby and the dining table is a Arne Jacobsen table by Brio. Eames elephant from Reac, accessories are re-ment, beads and other finds. The Tarzan poster is a half of a postcard. Green artwork on the wall is a laminate sample.

What a great setup and your stories always make me laugh. I really love the two tiny houses. Between you and Oese I'm going to end up with a 2nd miniature obsession! : )
Thank you petitnouveau :-) Glad you liked the set up. I was a bit afraid to use the poster, but it went so well with the colours, I (or Polly Line?)couldn't resist. The doll's houses are bought in a craft shop in our town and were incredibly cheap, under $2 dollars each.
The revamp on this Lundby house puts the manufacturer to shame!! This remodel is so incredibly cool. The light that comes in is perfect and makes it look 1:1.
Enough, this is more than my ego can handle :-)
Modern MC, I'm delighted to hear from you again, thank you very much!
The furniture looks GREAT! I am so glad you like it, and it looks like these pieces have found a home. I thought the size would work for you, and the setup looks really good:)
Thank callsmall! Yes it looks great, doesn't it? Both Polly Line and I are very pleased :-) I tried first to combine them with yellow lego shelves, but surprisingly (at least to me) they looked better with natural wood, even though they're plastic.
I loved the postcard you sent too, but the colours on it didn't work well with this set up. But I definitely want to use it, perhaps together with the Bocca sofa some day :-)
this is so beautiful! I love your attention to details. I could never do this *____*
Er det ikke noe som heter GULT ER KULT,helt stilig .Skjønner godt hun vill beholde møblene.
Janne
This is lovely
The furniture, the yellows and browns go so well in the white house and I love the view from the window! great great great:-)
Hahaha - I didn't understand the title until I got all the way down to the credits!! Great furniture!! -ara
Thanks very much Linda, but you don't fool me, I have seen your fabulous work :-)
Love your Snoem project by the way, any progress?
Takk Janne, mappa mi på Picasa med disse bildene heter faktisk gult er kult :-)
Thank you so much Natalie!
You are nice, nice, nice:-)
Thanks Ara and congratulations, you're the first to take the pun - you win a banana :-)
Wow, I applaud Polly! A very "brave" choice. That Tarzan poster is so hilarious and loud and outrageous that normally, I would be a little hesitant to display it so prominently (those bananas are giveaways? are you sure? haha! I think I remembered you saying you like bananas :) ). But this set up comes together really well.
Love the 2 little houses too.
Ha, ha, thanks Sans! Did you want a banana as well? :-D
First Polly Line was tempted to use the poster because of the colours, and when I came up with the headline, she just had to use it :-)
What should I add to all this comments - I agree totally. It's allways the same: Even the things I do not like in my life (like the colour yellow) looks so wonderful in your blog and I love them. The light from outside is so very nice.
Is there a pun in the title? My daughter and I tried to find, but failed again:-(
Ah, and the carpet looks good as well with the yellow!
Thanks Oese!
Yes I'm so pleased with how the carpet turned out. It made the whole scene look much more real!
The headline is perhaps more of a twist than a pun. I don't know if you have heard the Tarzan line: "Me Tarzan, you Jane"? And since "Me Tarzan" is written on the poster, I thought all the girls in the room would have liked to be Jane ;-)
Ah, I thought Polly Line was perhaps following Tim and Helmer's lead, and showing that men are not the only ones who appreciate pin-ups!
Great scene, and the poster works really well in it.
Thanks Rebecca and you are spot on about Polly Line and the poster, I hoped you would get the connection :-) The fitting colours was just her excuse for using it...
Initially I thought Polly Line should be the person in the mini world that was the most like me, but now I'm beginning to wonder :-)
