Today I got this sweet little rug in soft green and pink colours.
It's the same size as the typical Lundby bath rugs, so maybe it's meant for the bathroom as well.
I also think it would look great in a girls room.

Adorable!!! Love it, and yes, would suit a girl's room very well.
I think it is so cute like the iconic '60s daisy.
Thank you callsmall, I must find a way to set up a girl's room soon :-)
Thank you C :-) Yes, isn't it just :-)
Totally 'retro' - which makes it just the latest fashion :)
awwww - a girls room :) with this cute carpet :) maybe you can make one for annika? but how to get it into the house ;D i can understand the problem...
one of my future-future plans is to make a nursery. maybe in 1:12 :O (no lundby size!!!) i have a lot cute babystuff from my childhood in bigger sizes than lundby size.
i had a kind of christmas blanket or maybe carpet in my calendar today - red with snowflakes on it...

Thanks Norma, yes, you know I love retro :-)
Thank you Nicola! I would love to turn the childrens room into just a room for Annika, but where should poor Tomy sleep then? :-)
It would be great to see your nursery, it's nice to still have miniatures from ones childhood isn't it?
My little niece's best friend is called Aneka :). Most little girls love daisies but will Tomy like it? You may have to make another room now, Helene cos if your Annika is like Aneka, she will want her own room soon!
i´m the same opinion like sans :) annika needs her own girlie-room. but yes - what to do with tommy? maybe your house needs a (another)basement-extension and tommy could move into his own room. when i was young it was very coooool for boys to have a room at the basement - far away from the siblings and they could hear music loud as they wanted...
and yes, i´m very happy i kept so many toys from my childhood very well. before i had the lundby gothenburg i had i mix of some plastic dollies and babies and some furniture from my mums dolls house and some other (bigger)things i used for them. they lived in cartons i styled like houses with doors, etc... i have some pictures of this - i think i have to make a post ;D

Yay, another extension to your house! And yay, a post with Nicola's and her mum's childhood houses! And how nice to get things that inspire you to create a room around them!
Sans, Nicola and Rebecca, thank you all for your comments and nice suggestions! And even hubby agrees I should get the children separate rooms. We'll see if Polly Line can do some magic and get another extension to fit in with the rest of the house :-) I think Polly Line needs an extension to her house first perhaps, but we'll see...
