Coming out of the closet - as one shelf

ENG: Polly Line has bought some new furniture on ebay; a closet and a small table. And a little makeover converted the closet into a much needed bookshelf for her living room. The table isn't finished yet. She has also received the new furniture she was waiting for, new dining room chairs and table, (she had borrowed the table and chairs she had used until now) and her new sofa by Annina, which she has bought at Spook House. She's very proud of her sofa! She has also bought some of the furniture used in the Stavanger exhibition; the purple egg chair and the agate table.

ENG: Before and after. NOR: Før og etter

ENG: Polly Line has had problems finding art work she likes, so she has tried putting up some photo wallpaper instead (with a matching lamp!) We'll see how long that lasts...

This time of the year, it's daylight just for a few hours, so it's not easy taking good pictures. Some of them was taken after the sun set.

NOR: Polly Line har hatt problemer med å finne bilder hun liker til stua, så derfor har hun prøvd seg med fototapet istedet (med matchende lampe!) Vi får se hvor lenge det varer...

Credits: Sofa by Annina, Arne Jacobsen egg chair by Minimii, Eames elephant by Reac, Barton sideboard and chairs, Lundby sofa table and lamp. Dining room table is made with a combination of two different Re-ment tables. Agate table by me. Plant by the window by Christel Jensen. Accessories are Re-ment, beads, Treefeathers and random finds. "Photo paper" is a page from a magazine.

I love the light and "woodsy" elements all throughout this scene. The double Re-ment table (perhaps it is Re-re-ment??) looks great, very clever! I love the new shelving unit and the agate table is beautiful! Annina's sofa is lovely. How are you finding the quality of the Minimii chair? Love the color!

This must be one of my fav Pubdolls' room, my dear. I really like it. The 1st pic really sets the mood. I like how the old cupboard was converted to the bookshelf. Do you know I have a real life piece uncannily like this? I use it to store all my craft material etc. It is old and the wood flakes off like yours too and it sits outside the house under a covered walkway to the laundry room.

Polly looks like a happy camper in her home. She should be. I will be too!

Hi Pubdoll,

Brilliant I absolutely love this!
You have such a great style, and the combinations, furnishing and artwork are lovely! This is great!

I really like what you did with the cupboard ;-)

Thank you Dale, it seems Polly Line shares your passion for pink :-)
I love the egg chair, it's a gift from my friend Cocco!

Thanks callsmall, I think I must have been influenced by your themed rooms :-) First I thought Polly Line should have just "woodsy" colours as well, but to my big surprise she likes pink flowers and eighties green!

Re-re-ment - I love that word :D

I love the colour of the Minimii chair as well, and its detailing. It has just two small problems, it's so small and nicely detailed that it makes my Brio egg chair look oversized and a bit rough, and it swirls too easy! Polly Line had to sit in it to hold it in the right position.

Thanks Sans! I guess you wouldn't dare to say otherwise since I have said earlier that Polly Line's taste should be the most like mine :-) Judging by this room, her taste is more feminine than mine though.

So nice you have a shelf like this! I'm very pleased with how Polly LInes shelf turned out, especially since I have had great problems finding a bookshelf for her. And yes, Polly Line is quite happy with both the room and the shelf as well :-)

Thank you Rosanna! I agree! It's so fun to be able to buy designer furniture that doesn't cost too much or take up too much space.
And because of all the changes I make in my mini rooms I don't have the same need for changes in my lifesize interior. I think my hubby appreciates that :-)

Thank you Mercedes! And it was so easy to do as well :-)

Tusen takk Anne Mari og velkommen til bloggland, så flott at du har begynt å blogge også!

Thank you Oese!
I know what you mean, these last weeks I have been so tired in the evenings I haven't been able to produce coherent sentences. Too much work and rain and too little daylight.
So nice you have got an extension floor as well now! It's easy to furnish isn't it? It would be fun if you revamped yours with a bigger window as well, but I spent almost a week making mine. And yes, it's Helmer in the video :-)
