Valentine's day

Today Nora got a visit from Polly Line who just had to show someone the two giant bouquets of flowers she had received today! None of them came with a a card to tell who had given them to her, but she thought (and hoped) that she knew at least one of them :-)

Polly Line was quite surprised to find Nora still in her Carnival outfit and told her so. Nora blushed and said it was because Helmer really had liked her in it! And Nora had no reason to be envious of Polly Lines many flowers either. Helmer must have tried to make amends for last year when she didn't get anything, so he had filled all the vases in the living room. And since it's also Mothers day in Norway today, he and the children had even baked a heartshaped chocolate cake and decorated it with tiny chocolate hearts.

Credits: Almost all the flowers in this post are from the wonderful Sans! Thank you so much Sans, they were all gorgeous! The chocolate cake I made when I took a course in making fimo cakes at a Doll's house weekend in Stavanger.

Oh my... Who could they be from? Were there sneakers prints outside her door? What a fun post. I blew up all the photos and the flowers are fantastic. That bunch of roses is way too cool. Happy Valentine's Day to you and Yours!

Hmmmm...I wonder what Nora is wearing under her elegant outfit for Helmer -- why else would she blush??!! Sorry, my mind is in the gutter :)

Is it Mother's Day already? Over here, it's the 1st Sunday of May :). Happy Mummy Day, Mummy!

Did I really give you all those flowers :)? I think some of them are really from Helmer and er..Dr What? Jean Marie? I envy your girls, your men. It is not easy finding men here in my mini world, not to mention, men who gives flowers ! Kisses from me to these rare gems.

I am giving you a round of applause for the cake. I can't believe you went and take classes! Bravo, Helene, bravo!

O yes, tell Nora she belongs in Venice :).

Thanks Sans! Is it the 1st Sunday of May already in Singapore, in Europe it's just mid February, I hope you have brought enough warm clothes to Italy! :-) Your right, some of the flowers were just from Helmer, but I think the nicest bouquet was the one where he mixed his and yours :-) But my favourit is Polly Lines massive rose bouquet, she really has her a armfull there!

I like the cake, even though it's simple, but I'm quite happy with the decorative chocolate hearts I made for it.

I will soon get another man too, but he's more kind than handsome I believe. "My" men send kisses back to you too! But perhaps, being in Italy now, you get loads of attention anyway :-) I hope you'll have some wonderful days in Europe my dear! And since you're spending them with Rosanna, I'm sure you will!

Was Nora just on her way home from Carnival? LOL! ;)

When you only have ten dollars, spend five on bread and the other five on flowers. :)
