A quick visit to the bathroom

ENG: Here are some photos from Nora and Helmer's bathroom. The bathroom furniture is chosen to match the existing floor tiles that came with the house.
NOR: Her er noen fotografier fra Nora og Helmers baderom. Baderomsmøblene er valgt for å stå til de opprinnelige gulvflisene.

ENG: Nora really wanted windows in her bathroom
NOR: Nora hadde veldig lyst på vinduer på badet.

Nothing but Flanell no5.

Credits: Bathroom furniture are vintage Lundby and cabinet of unknown origin. (The shower is from my childhood). I have used lego to make the mirror shelf. Accessories are Lundby, Re-ment and self made. Posters are the mini-versions of Ikea postcards.

And - Fluffy Bricks has been so kind to post three of my rooms on her blog!
You can see them here.

I LOVE the sinks. Gorgeous, and very smart -- separate sinks for the couple! You have put everything together so nicely, and your use of Legos is very clever, as usual!

Oh, it's beautiful! I love Nora's windows, and the stool right outside the bath - very handy - and the zen rocks and vases. And I love the way you have made vintage bathroom pieces look so modern, with the shelf and mirror above the basins. You do amazing things with lego!

Oh Helene, this is a most gorgeous room !! I love the floor! I hope Nora doesn't decide to drill a hole for windows because I have always love pictures of windows and doors (one thing's for sure, your Ikea is far better than ours). I even own a book no one wants to buy called "London Doors"..lol! That cabinet is precious! I can't get over the hinges. Got to get my hands on some of these mini hinges or do you have a tutorial on that?

That shower's from your childhood? Wow! It looks pristine. Do you plastic wrap all your things , Helene ?;p.

Einfach nur wieder schön. Dieses Badezimmer gibt es gerade bei ebay zu kaufen - aber es so schön aufzubauen, das ist unbezahlbar.

Thanks callsmall! With only one bathroom in the house, two sinks was a necessity. Not that Helmer spends much time in front of the mirror...

Thank you Rebecca! The stool was made out of an oasis anchor pin and some fabric. And I must admit I was very pleased myself with how the lego shelf turned out. There is also a lego structure behind the wall panels supporting both the lego tiles and the panels.

Thanks Sans! No, I think she will settle with the window posters. (I have also always loved pictures of windows and doors. I have postcards of doors from both Trondheim, Bergen and Oslo.)
The cabinet came ready made, but at least in the hobby shop in our town you can buy mini hinges separately. (They don't have many varieties to choose from though)
"Luckily" for the shower it didn't match the rest of my childhood bathroom furniture and therefore wasn't used much. The rest of the furniture is wrecked :-)
