Bedroom stories

ENG: Nora has been in a decorating mood ever since Spook House opened, and the latest room to suffer from her frenzy is the bedroom. Even though it had been decorated just a couple years ago, into this...

ENG:...she kept on, with this as the final result:
NOR:..fortsatte hun, med dette som resultat:

ENG: The last picture shows the bedroom seen from the terrace. The floor tiles are original.

NOR: Det siste bildet viser soverommet sett fra terrassen utenfor. Flisene er husets orginale.

Credits: Re-ment chair, but I have coloured the fabric purple. The chest of drawers are from Brio, but painted with metallic paint. Scrap book frames. Other furniture and accessories are from Lundby, beads, or self made.

I see that you´ve got the Swan in yurd bedroom! I made the Egg by the same designer Aren Jacobsen from a paper egg this easter! If you want to have look I have posted a picture here: http://myminiatureworld.bloggagratis.se/2009/04/07/1564248-agget-tribute-to-arne-jacobsen/
I must say that I really like your modern bedroom. Lovely colours, I wouldn´t mind living there for real!

Hi Helena!
Thank you so much!
It's not really the swan, but a Re-ment copy that looks almost similar. But I like it and it is affordable, while the real swan in miniature is quite expensive.
Your Egg was fantastic! Great work and nice idea! I have an Egg chair too, kept from my childhood and blogged about here: http://pubdolls.blogspot.com/2009/03/helmers-study.html

Pubdoll said...

He, he, takk Helena, men jeg kan nok knapt kalles noe språkgeni.

Fint navn forresten!
