Seven heaven

ENG: Karl Edo loves his furniture and feels sad everytime a piece is taken away from him.
So the new seven miniature chair on the counter is not for sale!

NOR: Karl Edo elsker hvert eneste møbel i butikken og har vansker med å skilles fra dem.
Nå har han fått en ny syverstolminiatyr til å ha på disken og den er ikke til salgs!

Credits: The Arne Jacobsen seven chair is made by Cocco! Most of the furniture is credited before, as the Lundby chairs, the lego shelves and the re-ment counter and lamp. The white chairs are by Barton, the white tabletop is a broken re-ment table top on a knob. Accessories are by re-ment and Cocco and bead vases.

Oh wow. A miniature miniature Jacobsen chair. You have a very talented friend!
(Love the bead vases too!)

I like your modern room settings - they look so real! The red-white-black room is stunning.

Der kleine Stuhl ist riesig. Falls Cocco das mal in Serie produziert, möchte ich auf der Warteliste dafür stehen (ernst gemeint).
Immer wieder erfreuen mich dein Lego-Creationen und deine Phantasie.

Thank you Rebecca! Yes, I'm very fortunate to have her as a friend!
She has the patience and skill I'm lacking. And if it wasn't for her I'm not sure I would have taken up my doll's house interest again either! (I bought the beads because of the sebra stripes which I thought Cocco might like :-))

Thank you Tingeling, your compliments are much appreciated!
I love your blog and your historic approach to your settings!

Danke Oese, ich will Cocco fragen!
Es macht mich sehr froh dass ich dir noch mit meinen kleinen Lego-Creationen erfreuen kann :-)

Oh...My...Goodness. The chair is AMAZING. What did Cocco use to make it? This scene is so great -- I love all the color and the details!! The wall covering is fantastic.

Thanks callsmall! I don't know all the details, but I think Cocco used a sheet of copper to form the shape of the seat and back and then sealed it with red tape. I hope she will correct me if I have said anything wrong, or add more details :-)

I love the wallpaper myself, it's a sheet of scrapbook paper with a velvet effect. Hard to do anything else than red in this room though :-)

I can't decide which is my fav Pubdoll room until today. I think Karl's shop is it. Coco's chair is 1:48? So mind boggling to have minis within minis for me, I sometime suffer a headache just thinking about it :). Love the little vases. I really think beads make the best vases, even better than real mini vases..

So Cool!! I love this modern aproche on mini's. So refreshing to see, and in these lovely bright colors :D And red isn't even my favorite color haha. The chair is awsome, your friend did a great job, it compliments your lovely room perfect!

Sans, aren't you swearing in the church right now!?!? saying that beads do a better job than 'real' vases... that only goes for round ones I supose? True, they look great but aren't vases with long necks hard to duplicate using beads?

Thank you Sans :-) I still don't know which room is my favourite, I think it changes all the time :-)
Cocco' chair is 1:36, since she originally made it for her Actionman.
(Since he had the chair himself, she thought he might want it in miniature as well)
Glad you liked my vases, though I'm not sure I agree with you! But at least they are much cheeper than real minature vases :-)

Thank you Debbie! I must confess red isn't my favourit colour either, but Karl Edo seems to like it a lot :-)
And I was so grateful when I got that chair!

Too funny about the swearing in the church :-) I love using beads as vases and do it all the time, but I also love my real miniature vases with long necks.

Thank you Dale, I'm glad I found your blog too :-)
And I love modern stuff, but make rooms in older styles as well.

Victorian is my favorite, I think, but I also like vintage and shabby chic.

The great thing about working in miniature, is that you can have it all, or you can try. ;)

Pubdoll said...

I agree, and what I like the most is trying out different colour combinations, even though the Spook House tends to sell mostly red and white furniture :-)

I had to come back and look again! lol. The little chair on the white table is 1/36 scale, what is the scale of the rest of the room?
ditz here ;)

Pubdoll said...

You're welcome :-) The scale of the rest of the room is 1:16 or 3/4"
All my rooms and houses are in this scale since my dolls who uses them are from Lundby and are just over 11 cm tall.

dalesdreams said...

Ah, thanks, I knew you had told me the scale before, but then I couldn't remember! There's a lot of scales out there. ;)
