13th December

Too little, to late :-) Today I got these baking trays, apron and rolling pin. As you can see from the last post, the apron was the only thing that was needed. And even if it doesn't quite show in this picture, Helmer was glad to get it, so he can keep his beloved t-shirts clean.

A desperate housewife?

Too funny! I hate to say it, but the apron suits him! :)

I'm a bit worried about that slightly demonic look in his eye as he brandishes that rolling pin! He looks like he's about to attack someone ;)

Thanks Nicola :-) It was hubby's suggestion :-)
I don't know if Karl Edo and Arne are into ginger bread cookies, I don't think they are raffined enough for them :-) But perhaps a self-designed gingerbread house?

Thanks callsmall! Yes, I think it does too, the green colour really brings out the red in his eyes :-)

Thanks Norma for your concern, but I think it was just because I proposed a retake of the baking pictures tomorrow, but now with the apron on!

It's a great apron, but your cookies are better! Maybe Carol Line could make use of these biscuits? - with 7 children she must have trouble keeping up with their appetites.
I'd love to see a gingerbread house designed by Polly or Arne!

Thank you Rebecca, a great suggestion Rebecca and Carol Line has already received the biscuits and rolling pin. At least I guess so, I put them in Mari's calendar and asked her to give them to Carol Line :-) Mari thought it was very nice you remembered her family as well :-)
And I would also love to see a gingerbread house designed by one of them, maybe next Christmas?

Ja, nicht wahr? :-) Ich hatte auch ein anderen bild wo Helmer sein gewönliches Lächeln hatte, aber es musste dieses Bild sein. :-)
