22nd December

Today I got these Christmas decorations. Many Scandinavians have flag garlands on their Christmas trees with their national flags. I like flags on the National day, but for me it's not what Christmas is about. But I liked this one, because the flags from all the different countries reminded me of all of you who come visit my blog from these countries and others as well :-)
The large ornament can be used on one of the small potted trees I use for decoration in my real life home. And I'm sure Tomy and Annika will love the lollipops!

Fun, Fun, Fun... I am enjoying the daily post so very much. Thanks for the inspiration and for sharing your treats. I get up in the morning and wonder what the little window had for you today. So nice to meet you and Thank-You!

Thank you Lize and Nicola!
Nicola, the flags are almost6x10mm. I'm curious what you have got after the first gifts you showed us. Will you post more?

There sure is a lot of variety in this advent calendar. Clever idea to make a flag garland.

Hey, where's my flag?? :).My nieces can identify all those flags but I can only spot the UK, French, Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch flags. The little lollis look so real. Didn't know people put little flags round their Xmas tree. But then, there are people who hang food (!!). So flags are not that surprising :).

I must apologize on Lundby's behalf Sans, for the missing flag! :-)
There are also the German (yellow, red and black), the Danish (red and white) and the Finnish flag (blue and white).

We make hartshaped plaited baskets to hang on the Christmas tree and put candy in them, so we have food on ours as well, but no flags :-)
