Fairytales

These last days Tomy and Annika have been busy playing with their Christmas gifts. Especially the outfits from the calendar and the castles from mum and dad. Minimillian has come over to play every day, since Karl Edo's house isn't exactly children friendly.

Here is a photo Karl Edo took of uncle Arne with his nephew.
Doesn't Minimillian look just like his uncle ?

For those of you who are interested in genealogy, Minimillian is the son of Arne Vaa's sister Claire Vaa. Claire first joined a convent and planned to be a nun, but Minimillian's father to be, Troy Jansen, fell instantly in love with her when he accidently saw her and snook into the convent, disguised as a nun, to meet her. She soon reciprocated his feelings, left the convent and they married shortly after.

Credits: The castles are from two micro Playmobil sets. The furniture is new and vintage Lundby, playmobil and re-ment. Cocco has made Minimillian and Arne Vaa's clothes. Minimillian's sword and shield are lego accessories.

What a gorgeous scene! So many toys and stuffed animals, and the posters on the wall! There's even another shield and sword for Minimillian! I can see Tomy and Annika are really enjoying their holiday - hope you and your family are enjoying yours as much :-)

Thanks Rebecca, after a really stressful autumn it's very nice to have a calm and relaxing holiday. And we were all just as pleased with our presents as Tomy and Annika was with theirs :-)
I hope you have had a nice holiday as well!

Thank you Florine, the story of Minimillian in this post is the joined effort of the whole family :-)
Hubby first suggested Arne Vaa should have a french sister named Claire who was a nun, but my son meant she should be married with a man named Jansen.

So ich glaube man wurde sagen "A good start to the new year" in English.

So I wish you a good start to the new year as well Oese! (But I have already started to prepare my New Years Eve post :-))

Thank you Grace! And a happy new year to you as well!

Cute, Cute, Cute... Oh gosh how cute, fun, creative and playful. If I ever find that shrinking machine I want to get small and come and play with Tomy and Annika. Oh no, the toy dragon is biting Tomy's shoe. Hope he's okay. Love the green chair, new rug, princess outfit, the teeny tiny little dolls and just everything. May your new year be filled with all sizes of good things.

Thank you Amy! You are always so nice! The shoe-nibling dragon was well spotted, I hadn't noticed it :)

I want to wish you and your great hubby a happy new year with lot's of goodies for your dear peeps!

What a feast for the eyes! Such wonderful realistic toy "mess"! I love all the little details, like the Lego box in the corner. Where's your mini Lego house?!;) Have a wonderful New Year!! See you in 2010!

Thank you Natalie and callsmall og tusen takk Anne Mari!
Happy New Year og godt nytt år to all of you!

callsmall, I don't have a mini Lego house, but Polly Line got one from my son for Christmas! I will show it sometime soon :-) The mini Lego box was made by Cocco, like so many of my tresures!

I really should be in bed by now but I just couldn't resist reading this one more post. That chldren's room is incredible, Helene, where did all those wonderful toys come from?? They are 1:24 or 36?

Yes, little mini look just like his uncle. The resemblance with everyone is really making my head spin or maybe like you said, its time to get new glasses ..hohoho!

Thanks Sans, again, so nice to have you back again who is infact reading my posts :-) And I agree that many of them are quite alike, but I didn't see the Nora - Karl Edo connection :-)

The castles are micro playmobile, so I think they maybe playmobile scale in playmobile scale. The other toys are collected over the years, some are re-ment, some are from kinder eggs.
The fluffy animals are from a series of mini animals called "in my pocket" and are the same type of animals my children had when they were smaller. (The soft and cuddly crocodile is stacked away though :-))

Thank you Nicola (I'm too tired to write in German) you're most welcome to come back and play as often as you like :-)

Yes, I think he must be, even though I haven't seen any pictures of Troy Jansen, so I don't know what he looks like yet :-)
