The nightynight before Christmas/ Lilla julaften

This evening both Polly Line and Karl Edo installed their Christmas trees (from Spook House's new line of Christmas trees; Gran Colore), but now the calm of the night before Christmas has fallen upon their homes, just disturbed by me taking photos to show you. As an early Christmas present Karl Edo "bought" himself a new lamp for the dining table.

Credits: Polly Line's sofa is made by the wonderful Annina and the photos over the sofa are from her as well. You can also see them in her Vero house here. The Madonna figure by the window is made by the talented Christel Jensen. Karl Edo's new lamp is made by me, inspired by the lamp of Mini Modernistas. The Christmas trees was bought at Søstrene Grene. Polly Line's Advent star is handmade in glass and bought at a local store.

Trust Karl Edo to find a red Christmas tree! And great that they also came in purple, which goes so well with Polly Line's chair :-)
I'm a little shocked, though, as it sounds like you sold the lamp to Karl Edo? At Christmas time? It wasn't a gift from you to him? ;^)

I hope your Christmas Eve night is as calm and peaceful, Helene - have a great Christmas!

Wow - I love this scene. All the details are great, and the lamp is truly wonderful, and it actually works!!! The trees are very modern and fabulous, too. Merry, merry Christmas to you - so glad I go to know you and your blog this year. Cheers!

Congratulations - I love both scenes - what a wonderful athmoshpere. The tree are terrific. I love the new lamp very much, especially the signs it makes on the ceiling.
I wish my rooms (both real and dollshouse) would look so clean and calm - but this will be the work of today.
Looking forward to seeing what's in your advent-calendar today.

Rebecca, your totally right, I should have given it to him as a present, but he got it very cheap :-)

Thanks and cheers callsmall, I'm so glad I got to know you as well :-)
The lamp was made of materials I had lying around, in the middle of the night last Saturday :-)

Thanks Oese, for once at least my living room is almost as clean as this, but I guess it won't stay like that for long :-)

Thank you so much Rosanna! You are too kind, but very nice to hear just the same :-)

What a spectacular little dining table lamp! Really clever and the effect is perfect for the modern setting. The lights make so much difference, don't they? Who needs a Christmas tree when you have dollhouses that lit up! :) I could not start on the tribal house because I cannot resolve the lightings. Lights have become so important for me that they are now my 1st consideration. Now I must go look at my fake lamps, put myself in your shoes and figure out how to make them work. A most splendid job, Helene.

Thank you Sans, as you know, I have been eager to show it to you, so I'm glad you liked it :-)

Thank you Annina, I'm so glad you sent them to me, because they do fit the room perfectly! And I don't think the madonna would mind quality art :-)

Ohh! I should note that I am inspired to buy that additional floor for the Smaland and customize it. Hmm...

Thanks Modern MC, it would be so great if you did that!
