There's Santa, but where's grandpa?

It's Christmas eve, the long and heavy dinner is consumed and now they are having coffee with homemade cookies and cakes and are about to open the Christmas presents under the tree. As always, Glenn Closeenough and Sean Kommer'u, (Sean R.U. Coming) are spending Christmas with their daughter Nora and her family. Suddenly, just as grandpa Sean has gone upstairs for his afternoon nap, there's Santa, with a large bag loaded with gifts for Tomy and Annika!

Grandma Glenn and Helmer are watching.

Credits: Nora's bunad and Glenn Closeenough's clothes are made by Cocco!
The bunad was her Christmas present for me, am I lucky or what?
The Santa costume is from Lundby.

What a lovely scene! Thank you for sharing, Helene.
And please tell Cocco she's a wonder and Happy Holiday to her! Noras "Tracht" is really great.

What an exquisite costume! Cocco is so talented. This scene looks so peaceful and happy - I hope your Christmas celebrations were like that too! And I can't wait for the next National Day either, with Nora's new Bunad and the extra flags :-)

Thank you all! Yes, Cocco is fantastic, I was so thrilled when I saw the bunad, I couldn't stop giggling!
We had a very nice Christmas eve as well, with lots of great food and cakes. But as usual, Santa didn't come in, but rang the doorbell and ran off, leaving the bag of presents on the doorstep :-)

Dear Pubdoll, Thanks so very much for visiting my blog. This is more fun than I could have imagined. You inspire, education and amuse me to no end. I love all the photos. If I ever grow up I want to be like YOU! And I don't ever want to grow up. Happy Lundby Land to you! Fondly, Amy

Thanks Amy, I'm almost blushing here :-) But hubby says the first thing you have to do to be like me is never growing up :-)

Tell your hubby I sure like him. I choose to never grow up, so I am like YOU! Goodie, Goodie gum drops with gobs of sugar on top. Let's play...

oh, what a cute lil´ story :) i have to catch up with all your posts, because i had to make a break with everything at the 1. christmas day - i was ill with sore throat and fever... :( and i still am.

so i think you unfortunately have to wait a bit longer for the pictures of my adventscalendar. at the last window was a little lundby baby inside... but the poor little guy is real ugly. cosima, my youngest daughter, said: "look here comes jesus" ;D but i guess jesus was more handsome - anyway the baby is called jesus, now :)

Thank you Nicola! So sad to be sick at Christmas! After a stressful periode it's easy to get sick when you can relax again. Don't stress with the calendar picures, the most important thing is that you get well get again!
